For The Caramel Layer
Caramel sauce is an irresistible addition to any dessert, and it’s especially delicious when paired with chocolate chip cookie bars. You have two options when it comes to caramel sauce: store-bought caramel sauce or homemade. If you’re short on time or prefer the convenience of a pre-made sauce, store-bought caramel sauce is a great option. Simply pour the sauce over the baked cookie bars and spread it evenly with a spatula.
However, if you’re feeling adventurous and want to make your own caramel sauce, it’s surprisingly easy to do.
