  • 1 cup Gruyère shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded

Topping

  • 4-6 slices bacon cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 2-3 green onions sliced

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter and oil in a skillet. Add onions, salt, and sugar. Cook 25–30 minutes until caramelized.
  • Stir in garlic, honey, and balsamic. Cook 1–2 minutes.
  • Add orzo and toast for 1–2 minutes.
  • Add broth, water, Worcestershire, thyme, and pepper. Simmer 10–12 minutes.
  • Stir in half the cheese. Top with remaining cheese and melt.
  • Finish with bacon and green onions. Serve warm.
