Ingredients
  

  • 6 ears of corn husked and cut in half
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Husk the corn and remove all the silk. Then, carefully cut each ear of corn in half. Insert a skewer in one end of each corn half.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the melted butter, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, sugar, salt, pepper, and fresh parsley. Mix well.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you're using a charcoal grill, make sure the coals are evenly distributed and have a nice, even layer of heat. (You can also do these in the oven at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Turn them 1/2 way through cooking time.)
  • Place the coated corn halves directly on the grill. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and charred in spots. The mixture will melt and caramelize, creating a beautiful, golden-brown crust.
