Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz milk chocolate or semi-sweet
  • 1 14 oz sweetened condensed milk divided
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
  • 4 Tbsp butter divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla optional

Instructions

  • Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl combine the peanut butter chips and 1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk (reserve the remaining milk for the chocolate layer). And 2 TBSP of the butter and 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and melted. You can also do this in a saucepan on the stove. I do it both ways and it turns out great!
  • In another microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the reserved sweetened condensed milk and 2 TBSP of butter and 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth. You Can do this step on the stovetop as well!
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared 8x8 pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Pour the peanut butter mixture on top. Use a butter knife or skewer to swirl the chocolate and peanut butter layers together for a marbled effect.
  • If desired, sprinkle chopped roasted peanuts or mini marshmallows on top of the fudge and lightly press them into the surface.
  • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 1 hour, or until completely set. If you are in a hurry pop it in the freezer.
  • Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares and serve. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months!
