Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound hard salami sliced
  • 1/4 pound deli ham sliced
  • 1/4 pound pepperoni
  • 1/4 pound deli smoked turkey breast sliced
  • 1/4 pound provolone cheese sliced
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce or romaine
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 cup banana peppers or pepperoncini
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Finely chop lettuce, tomato, onion and banana peppers
  • Dice deli meat and provolone into roughly 1/4 inch pieces. Combine in large bowl.
  • In a small bowl whisk together mayonnaise, olive oil, italian seasoning, dried basil and pepper.
  • Add dressing to large bowl of ingredients and stir well.
  • If you are serving this in a bread bowl, carve out the center of a 10" round loaf of bread, be careful not to cut through the bottom. Cut the bread you removed into bite sized pieces. Serve the dip in the bread bowl with the bread cubes for dipping. Or place in a dish and serve with crackers, baguette slices, rolls, pita chips or tortilla chips!

Notes

Drain the banana peppers or pepperoncini well before adding them. If your tomato is especially juicy, remove some of the seeds and excess liquid.
For the best texture, wait until close to serving time to add the lettuce and tomato and mix the dip.
