Ingredients For Orange Pork Kabobs:

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary (or 2 tsp dried)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 1/2 – 3 lb. pork (boneless pork tenderloin recommended)
  • Metal or wooden skewers

Instructions:

In a large bowl (I love these mixing bowls), whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, olive oil, rosemary, and minced garlic. Pour into gallon plastic bag (these stand up bags are great for this).

Cut the pork into chunks and add them to the marinade, ensuring the meat is well coated. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Grilling Pork Kabobs:

If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before threading the pork to prevent them from burning on the grill.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated pork onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is nicely caramelized and fully cooked.

Tips:

  • If using metal skewers, there’s no need for soaking. Just make sure to handle them with care as they can get quite hot on the grill.
  • Now, if you’re like me and enjoy a little kick of heat in your food, here are a few ideas to spice up your orange pork kabobs. You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade for a subtle heat, or you could brush the kabobs with a spicy glaze made of sriracha, honey, and a splash of lime juice during the last few minutes of grilling.

This Orange Pork Kabobs Recipe is not only incredibly delicious but also versatile. If you prefer, you can swap the pork for chicken to mix things up. Whichever protein you choose, the citrusy marinade will work its magic, resulting in tender, juicy skewers that are sure to be a hit at your next barbecue.

I hope you give this recipe a try and enjoy it as much as I do. Happy grilling!
