Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced any type
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • green onions for garnish if desired

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground chuck until it's cooked through.
  • Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the beef, letting them cook until the onions are translucent.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the mixture, stirring continuously. Cook several minutes.
  • Pour in the beef broth gradually, stirring to avoid lumps. Simmer over medium heat until it thickens.
  • Add worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Slowly pour the cream stirring constantly. Add mushrooms and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or a hearty slice of bread
