Easy homemade pizza crust recipe, turns out great every time! This recipe makes 1 - 15" crust or 2- 10 inch thin crusts.

  • Place warm water, yeast and sugar in the bowl of your stand mixer and let sit for a few minutes. Add flour and rest of ingredients and using the dough hook attachment mix on low speed until a ball forms. If your dough is too dry add a drizzle of water -If your dough is too sticky add a bit of flour.

  • Once your ball forms increase speed to medium-high and knead for 5 minutes.
  • Remove dough from mixer bowl and shape into a round ball. Place in a bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil rubbing over entire dough.

  • Cover with a clean kitchen towel and place in a warm location until doubled in size. about 30 minutes.

  • Remove risen dough from the bowl. You can freeze the dough if you are not to use it now.

  • Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and stretch your dough into a 15 " circle (you can make 1 - 15" or 2 - 10" thin crusts with this recipe.) or whatever shape you want. If your dough doesn't stretch easily lay it down and allow it to rest for a few minutes. You can also use a rolling pin to roll the dough.

  • Preheat your oven to 450℉ and place pizza stone in oven if you are using one.
  • Once you have your dough shaped, prick all over top with a fork to prevent air bubbles. Top with all your favorite toppings. Using a pizza peel dusted with a little cornmeal to keep pizza from sticking. Place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or slide onto your preheated pizza stone (recommended) and bake at 450℉ for 12-14 minutes or until bubbly and the crust is browned.

  • If you want to par-bake your crust for later, prick with fork and bake on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or preheated pizza stone (recommended) for 5 minutes in a preheated 450 ℉ oven.
