Preheat the oven to 400°F

Place 2 Tbsp melted butter in baking dish.

Place the lemon slices in a single layer at the bottom of the greased baking dish. this will give the haddock citrus notes and also prevent it from sticking to the dish.

Pat the haddock fillets dry using a paper towel to remove any excess moisture. Season both sides of each fillet with salt and pepper. Place each fillet on top of the lemon slices.

In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, minced garlic. Mix well.

Brush each haddock fillet with the melted butter, coating both sides. Then press bread crumb mixture, on top of each fish fillet.

Bake the haddock for about 15-20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. The breadcrumbs should turn golden brown, forming a crust on top.

Once cooked, remove the baking dish from the oven and allow the haddock to rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
