Tips for Cooking Beef Tips

When you’re ready to cook, it’s essential to make sure your cast iron skillet or frying pan is nice and hot before adding the steak bites. This will help ensure that the beef develops a good sear on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. To cook the meat:

  1. Use tongs to add the marinated pieces to the skillet, shaking off any excess marinade before adding them to the pan.
  2. Cook the steak pieces for 2-3 minutes per side or until they develop a dark crust and are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  3. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan, which can cause the beef to steam instead of sear.
