Making Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza
This homemade pizza is so easy to make. All you need is a pizza crust. Try my Homemade Pizza Crust or use a crust or dough from the store, you could also use naan bread! And these simple ingredients… chicken breasts, Caesar dressing, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, romaine lettuce, lemon juice and croutons. Leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken work fine too!
Use a par-baked pizza crust for this recipe because you are only melting the cheese on the crust, the chicken is already cooked. It takes only about 10 minutes in the oven for the cheese to melt and the crust to crisp up. Preheat your oven to 450 before putting your pizza in. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven or on your grill using a pizza peel to preheat then slide your pizza on to the stone. This ensures a crispy crust. This pizza is delicious on the grill it adds a hint of smokiness!

My Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp sugar
Making the Dough
Place warm water, yeast and sugar in the bowl of your stand mixer and let sit for a few minutes. Add flour and rest of ingredients and using the dough hook attachment mix on low speed until a ball forms. If your dough is too dry add a drizzle of water -If your dough is too sticky add a bit of flour.
Once your ball forms increase speed to medium-high and knead for 5 minutes.
Remove dough from mixer bowl and shape into a round ball. Place in a bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil rubbing over entire dough.
Let The Dough Rise
Cover with a clean kitchen towel and place in a warm location until doubled in size. about 30 minutes.
Remove risen dough from the bowl. You can freeze the dough if you are not to use it now.
Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and stretch your dough into a 15 ” circle (you can make 1 – 15″ or 2 – 10″ thin crusts with this recipe.) or whatever shape you want. If your dough doesn’t stretch easily lay it down and allow it to rest for a few minutes. You can also use a rolling pin to roll the dough.
Once you have your dough shaped, prick all over top with a fork to prevent air bubbles. Top with all your favorite toppings. Using a pizza peel dusted with a little cornmeal to keep pizza from sticking. Place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or slide onto your preheated pizza stone (recommended) and bake at 450℉ for 12-14 minutes or until bubbly and the crust is browned.
